PURPOSE DRIVEN
PEOPLE FOCUSED
A COMMUNITY ADVOCATE
As a community advocate, I’ll work to unite us all—parents, teachers, and neighbors—toward a shared vision of opportunity, equity, and growth.
Fostering community support is vital to the success of our local education system. I'll listen to parents/guardians, faculty/staff, and other community stakeholders. The voice of the community should be a driving force in decision-making for the future.
I'll ensure that decision making within the district always reflects equity-focused outcomes, especially for underserved populations.
A TEACHERS HEART
With a teacher’s heart, I’ll advocate for educational excellence and innovation.
I'll work to ensure USD 230 remains a top destination in NE Kansas for the best and brightest educators and support staff, ensuring competitive compensation, manageable workloads, and premier professional development opportunities.
I'll also play an important role in the development of the new Career Technical Education wing and associated programming at the high school.
A PARENTS VOICE
With a parent’s voice, I’ll fight for the needs of our children and families,
ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
As a father of 5 Spring Hill students, one of the reasons we chose to move here was the distinguished schools and I intend to work hard to maintain that distinction as the fastest growing district in the state continues to welcome new families.
My background as a Special Education Teacher will position me to be a frontline advocate of retaining necessary support services for students with disabilities who are more at risk of falling behind as well as students in the Gifted & Talented program who deserve equitable services and programs to help them reach their maximum potential.
I'll lead the charge for maintaining adequate facilities and class sizes and fight for the retention & expansion of extracurricular programs that keep children engaged outside of school hours all while driving fiscal responsibility.
